    HUNGER STRIKE FOR GAZA!
SOLIDARITY WITH HANA - PRISONER OF ISRAEL

Saturday 13th September 11am to 12.30pm Wellington Place, Hastings Town Centre.

Hana from Ramallah in the West Bank, who works as a computer systems engineer, is a civil liberties campaigner. She visited Hastings in 2023 to give a presentation about Palestinian history and culture and about life under Israeli occupation.

Join us to 'Hunger Strike for Gaza' on Saturday by fasting for as long as you can on the day. Bring a sign about why you are fasting and stand with us in the town centre to show our solidarity with Gaza. Stand with Hana and all the Palestinians who face brutal repression simply for opposing Israel's genocide. We send our love and solidarity to Hana and her family, including her four young children, and we call for her immediate release. More information: Facebook and Instagram.

    HASTINGS TOWN CENTRE INFORMATION STALL

Our weekly information stall will run as usual on Saturday but at the earlier time 11am until 12.30pm to run alongside 'Hunger Strike for Gaza.' All the usual information, petitions, stickers, keffiyehs, Support Plasticine Action T-Shirts, books and badges.

    DRONE AGAINST DRONES

Saturday 13 September 1pm. Hastings Pier.
Drones are being used by Israel to slaughter civilians mercilessly in Gaza. They target and terrorise children, deliberately persistently picking off children as young as three years old. The torturous buzz of the drones at all hours of the day and night is a form of psyhological warfare, a constant reminder that Israel can kill any one at any moment.

We will march playing an assortment of musical instruments on one constant note. We will drone! Join us on the march with any instrument you like to protest this monstrous warfare. More information: Facebook and Instagram.

FILM SHOW: FROM GROUND ZERO - STORIES FROM GAZA

Monday 15 September 6pm. Kino Rye, Lion Street, Rye.
All tickets to the film show have been sold. More information: From Ground Zero.

    FILM SHOW: NO OTHER LAND

Thursday 18 September 7.30pm. Electric Palace Cinema, 39a High Street TN34 3ER The film shows the destruction of the occupied West Bank's Masafer Yatta by Israeli soldiers and the alliance which develops between the Palestinian activist Basel and Israeli journalist Yuval.

This film about violent settler attacks on the communities in Masafa Yatta was made possible with the help of consultant and activist Awdeh Hathaleen. Teacher Awdeh, 31, was shot and killed two weeks ago by a settler in the occupied West Bank. Yinon Levi is on a European sanction list for his violent attacks on Palestinians and their property but he has been released from house arrest, citing lack of evidence, despite footage of the shooting being widely published.

The film will be shown in partnership between the Electric Palace and Hastings and District PSC. More information.
