Israel's murder of well known and respected Lebanese reporter Amal Khalil last week was condemned worldwide. Amal was threatened, hunted down and attacked by the Israeli military before being left to die in agony as civil defence crews and paramedics were refused access to save her life.

Amal is the latest of hundreds of victims of Israel's policy of systematically murdering journalists in an attempt to silence the truth.

A man with serious mental health issues carries out an appalling assault on Wednesday on two Jewish men (and earlier on in the day on a man who is thought to be Muslim). No link with Palestine, but now the corporate media and the corporate politicians are calling for a clamp down on advocacy of Palestine. No mention of course of the knife attack last week where a Zionist stabbed a man and his two children at a London rally against the war against Iran.

Does anyone still watch the BBC? A recent Panorama programme "peddles the line that Jews in Britain are victims of an irrational prejudice that is rife among supporters of the Palestinian cause." The film has been made by award-winning journalist and film documentary maker Medyan Dairieh. Throughout the summer of 2025 he filmed at both the armaments factories of General Dynamics in Hastings and the L3Harris factory in Moulscoomb. The film includes interviews with the protestors at both factories; an interview with Professor Stavriankis from Sussex University; music by BuddBeginnings.

The film show will be followed by a discussion and question and answer session with Medyan Dairieh.

The PSC is asking councillors to make a commitment to uphold the rights of the Palestinian people. The PSC is building on this momentum in the May local elections in England where we are calling on council candidates to pledge for Palestine. Amjed Tantesh's lifetime aim is to teach as many children to swim as possible. He has already made big progress with this pool in Deir al Balah.
