    THREE YEARS OF GENOCIDE
Protest at Genocide Profiteer General Dynamics

Friday 9 October 8am. General Dynamics, Castleham Road, Hastings TN38 9NJ.

Israel has carried out its genocidal policies against the Palestinian people of Gaza for three years. Companies such as General Dynamics have played an essential part in this by being a major supplier of armaments such as the 2,000 pound bombs that caused such damage and carnage in Gaza.

In Hastings, there are two General Dynamics sites. They provide avionic systems for fighter planes and tactical communications equipment for ground vehicles. These components are a vital part of the Israeli military machine. The site at Castleham Road is leased to General Dynamics by Hastings Borough Council. So the Council facilitates and benefits from a genocide profiteer. Clearly this has to stop. Join us on 9 October to demand: Stop Arming Israel; Sanctions Now; Hastings Council: Ditch the lease. Please share our Facebook event page and our Instagram page.

FREE SWIMMING LESSONS FOR CHILDREN IN GAZA

Pools have been constructed along the Gazan coast with boulders and sand bags forming mini-lido-like structures. So far five pools have been completed by Amjed Tantesh and his helpers. Amjed's life ambition is to teach as many children in Gaza to swim as possible. The money is needed to pay the teachers, the support staff and for Amjed's helpers who are setting up and maintaining the pools. So far 5,800 children have been taught to swim, 4,000 of whom were sponsored by @SwimWithGaza. Amjed plans to teach another 2,500 children to swim up until November.

The fundraiser page is here: Free Swimming Lessons for Children in Gaza.

WRITE TO THE FOREIGN SECRETARY: DEMAND THE RELEASE OF DR ABU SAFIYA. IMPLEMENT SANCTIONS NOW

Support the PSC e-action: Write to the Foreign Secretary to demand the release of Dr Abu Safiya. The PSC letter also refers to the 9,000+ Palestinians who are currently imprisoned by Israel in the most horrific conditions imaginable and subjected to beatings, torture, rotten food and unsanitary environments. "The British government must take urgent action to hold Israel accountable for these crimes by implementing comprehensive sanctions now."
